Please note that this is a house in the mountains (usually 400-600 m above the coast) and here the roads are winding and access can also be by dirt tracks.
Finca la Isla, located near Cómpeta, offers a unique Andalusian holiday experience on Costa del Sol, nestled below Sierra Almijara with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and mountains up to 2,065 meters high. The spacious grounds feature various peaceful spots including terraces, a garden with fruit trees, and a pool area with a grotto and waterfall, perfect for cooling off on hot days.
Access is straightforward via an 800-meter concrete road from Cómpeta, ensuring year-round accessibility without needing off-road vehicles.
The nearest beach at Torrox Costa is accessible within 20-30 minutes by car.
Accommodations include a ground floor for 3-4 guests, with sea or pool views from the bedrooms and a distinctive bathroom reminiscent of Arabian nights, complete with a starlit dome above the bathtub. The property also houses three outdoor cats and aquatic life in a pond, making it unsuitable for guests averse to these animals.
A guest apartment on the first floor offers independent living with its own entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and terraces boasting panoramic views.
The pool season is generally from 1 April to 31 October.
Late check-in can be arranged until 1am for a supplement.
Electricity costs for houses with air conditioning/heating: Meter reading on arrival and departure. Excessive use (more than 100 kW per week or 21.5 kW per day for longer stays) will incur an additional payment of 0.39 euros per kW on site. Expected usage is 70-200 kW/h per week with moderate consumption.
