Driftwood Cottage is a heart-warming, detached bungalow enjoying a central location in the bustling market town of Keswick, providing easy level access to the attractions of the Lake District. Well-suited for families, friends and couples to enjoy a long-awaited break from everyday life, Driftwood Cottage makes a charming base to return to each evening.
Ease into the evening as you light up the woodburning stove and relax on the sofa with your loved ones, flicking through the TV channels as you reminisce on the day’s activities. Step into the wonderful kitchen, catering to all of your culinary requirements with an electric range cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave, before gathering at the breakfast bar for a well-deserved feast.
When the weather turns warm, take your drinks outdoors to the lawned garden and toast to a wonderful holiday with your loved one whilst resting underneath a stunning canopy of stars.
Catch your rest in the bedrooms which comprise of two doubles one with patio doors leading out to the rear patio and a single bedroom, and wake up feeling refreshed and ready for a day of adventure, why not tackle a challenging peak in the surrounding area which include Catbells, Skiddaw, Coledale Horseshoe and Blencathra, all different in length and difficulty ideal for various abilities.
Stroll the quaint streets of Keswick and you can expect to find an array of restaurants, pubs and cafés, ideal if you fancy a night off cooking, along with a host of tourist attractions such as the optical illusion exhibition Puzzling Place, Keswick Museum or Derwent Pencil Museum. Driftwood Cottage is a delightful bungalow situated in the heart of Keswick.
