Forget everything and put your suitcases down with Dominique and Sylvie, at the Domaine de Bretteville: a preserved place where the fauna and flora flourish freely. This 16th century cottage, former residence of Norman nobles, was bought by Dominique's grandfather, who then rehabilitated the building in ruins to set up his farm there. Today, Dominique still grows wheat, but there are no more domestic animals. The masters of the place are now squirrels, fawns, deer and deer as well as owls and birds of all kinds. It is not uncommon to see them on the paths created by the owners, discreet openings in this luxuriant nature, ideal for lovers of wildlife photo hikes.
The idea of opening gîtes germinated in Dominique's mind the year she turned 17. It is therefore a real life project that he is pursuing today with Sylvie. He took care of the work and in particular the carpentry, one of his passions, and Sylvie decorated the lodgings "in the Norman spirit", as she likes to say. Here, you will taste the happiness of simple things: observe animals, listen to birdsong, eat on the tree, warm up by the fireplace after a night hike... Sylvie likes to see the enchantment on the faces of her guests when they discover the Domain.
