If you are here at the end of May, you can experience the popular annual festival "Örkelljunga Dagarna" (the Örkelljunga Days) in the town of Örkelljunga. Also visit the town of Hässleholm with Hovdala Castle and Tykarpshöhle, a huge labyrinth 10-12 meters underground where local farmers have quarried limestone for centuries. In the 12th century, several churches in Skåne were built from the chiseled limestone of "Tykarpsgrottan". Today, the cave is a tourist attraction with guided tours through parts of the cave.
