This accommodation is situated on a centuries-old farm with barns built in Saxon style. The house is fully furnished and equipped, with an open kitchen/dining room, a large living room with a fireplace, two bathrooms, and six bedrooms. Suitable for groups of up to 12 people for (short) holidays with family and friends, training sessions, business associates, study groups, or other courses. Downstairs, the hall gives access to a bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is located in the 'deel', the back part of the farmhouse, overlooking the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped. The mudroom, off the kitchen, offers lots of storage space, and behind that a toilet and shower. In the front, there's a large sitting room with modern sofas and chairs by a wood stove. A round table for games, etc. A TV with DVD player and radio/CD player is available. There's central heating throughout the house. On the second floor, you'll find a bathroom and 5 bedrooms; one of these rooms also has a children's bed/cot. The bathroom is spacious and features a toilet, shower, and separate bath. Duvets, pillows, and blankets are provided for all beds. The bedroom windows are fitted with screens and most beds are extra long. There's a lot of space outside, with patios in the front and back, both with garden furniture. All round, there's a large lawn that merges into the new orchard. The accommodation is a 1½ hour drive from Utrecht or Amsterdam, and is located in the heart of Twente, between Almelo and Ootmarsum. Enjoy the space and tranquility that this country property has to offer, which can be combined with interesting excursions and long or short walks and bike rides in the surrounding area. Discover Twente's nature by walking or biking through the Springendal, or take a canoe trip down the Dinkel river. Enjoy being outside while playing 'klootschieten', a typically Twents version of boules, or go for a ride in a covered wagon.
