The traditional pretty country house CASA LIMOEIRO, ideal for families, is furnished in a rustic-traditional style suitable for holidays. Domed ceiling in the living room and one of the bedrooms. Tiled floors. Well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, W-LAN and private covered terrace with garden furniture, brick benches and brick-built outdoor barbecue. Bus stop approx. 150 m.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:
The small holiday complex Quinta dos Avores consists of a total of only 2 small holiday homes, this holiday home Casinha dos Avos (ESTO100) and the slightly larger holiday home Casa Limoeiro for 6 people (ESTO101). Electric entrance gate.
Ca. 750 m² large, enclosed plot for communal use with flowers, bushes and fruit trees, tiled terraces and gravelled areas. Fenced, tiled pool area (pool size 7.5m x 3.5m, depth 0.9m to 1.6m; the pool can be used all year round) with an outdoor shower, 6 sun loungers and 2 parasols. At the holiday home Casa Limoeiro own terrace with garden furniture and outdoor barbecue.
1-2x per week pool and grounds maintenance by the owner. Some parking spaces on the property (electric and hybrid vehicles may NOT be charged at the house and in the complex).

LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS:
Next sandy beaches in Fuzeta (14 km) and on the island 'Ilha de Faro' (21 km). The small town of Estoi (approx. 3,000 inhabitants) is 6 km away and is a typical Algarve community of the rural Barrocal in the district of Faro in the hinterland of the Mediterranean coast. The charming little town offers, among other things, a baroque castle from the 19th century (now a hotel), the remains of a Roman settlement and the famous equestrian festival 'Festa da Pinha' (at the beginning of May each year). There is a good tourist infrastructure with restaurants, shops, bars, cafés, etc. The small village of Peral (restaurants, adventure farm) is 1 km away. Sao Brás de Alportel with supermarkets, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, tennis courts and bus terminal is 5.5 km away. The pretty town of Faro is 12 km away.

REGIONAL INFORMATION:
The Algarve is the most famous holiday region in Portugal. It is characterised by bizarre rock formations on the west side and the bird and nature reserve of the Ria Formosa with the offshore islands on the east side. Here, as in neighbouring Andalusia, the Moorish influence can still be felt - whitewashed houses with their roof terraces and distinctive, ornate chimneys, the irrigation systems and much more. In the hinterland (Barrocal), the terrain rises up and you can see small villages surrounded by almond, carob and orange trees. Then comes the terrain of the 'Serra', which protects the Algarve from the cold north winds.

The Algarve region received the World Travel Award for 'Best Beach Destination' in 2024. But it has much more to offer than "just" beaches and golf. For birdwatchers, the Costa Vicentina and the Ria Formosa are ideal for observing migratory birds. The beautiful cultural city of Faro and the picturesque town of Tavira are well worth a visit. In the Barrocal and Serra there are extensive hiking and cycling trails for day trips.

There is therefore no better starting point than our holiday complex as a starting and finishing point for exploring the Algarve!
